Handling Stress

Stress is one of those unpleasant, but inevitable parts of life.  We all have seasons where we feel like we're dealing with an overabundance of stress, and often it spills over into all areas of our lives.  So today I want to give you a couple tips on what you can do to help when you're feeling stressed.

 

1. Pray

1 Peter 5:7 (NLV) tells us, "Cast all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you."  There is no worry that's too big or too small to turn to God about.  He cares about every part of our lives, and he's willing to help us when we ask.

 

2. Get Moving

Exercise can help with stress.  You might not feel up to an hour at the gym, but try going on a walk outside when the weather is nice.

 

3. Have Quiet Time

Quiet time can help you relax and declutter your mind.  It might look different from person to person.  Quiet time could be reading a book, watching a movie, soaking in a bubble bath, or whatever activity helps you relax.
