I’m your not-so-typical, seventeen year old gal, living in South Carolina, writing my way through everyday life. If I’m not at school or work, you can find me either hiking, creating music, or at Palmetto Women’s Center.
The Lord has blessed me in countless ways in my teen years, and one of the biggest blessings, has been the Palmetto Women’s Center. When my mom started working there earlier this year, I had no idea it would become a huge family for me.
I have the awesome opportunity to serve as a Student Educator/Speaker on the Campus Education Board with the Teen Panel they’ve developed over the summer.
The teen panel is a group of teenagers, enrolled in different local high schools, that help PWC reach the community, specifically teenagers. The Campus Education Committee goes into schools to teach about healthy relationships, and the importance of making good, safe, and smart decisions. They also discuss the different options that are available if you find yourself in an unplanned pregnancy and need help.
The Palmetto Women’s Center is truly a beautiful, safe place for all women, no matter your age. It’s a place with no judgment or shame, but love and acceptance.
I’ll be writing on different topics regarding current teenage issues and how abortion is affecting our world and generation.
I’d love if you would subscribe and come along with me on this journey!!!
